About the webmistress
My name is Roz Aliya Mohd. Zin. Although most of my friends at university know me as Stella, please feel free to call me Alia (A-lee-yah). I'm studying BSc Multimedia at Middlesex University (the old alma mater of T4 presenter Dermot O'Leary and soap star Neil Grainger, who plays the mysterious Phil Berry in ITV's revival of Crossroads.) Here's a bit of freaky information, my cool lab tutor, Anthony "Skip" Basiel could be my Dad's caucasian twin (I swear!). The resemblance is uncanny, almost freaky! When not suffering in England, I reside in sunny Brunei Darussalam, with my long suffering parents. In England, I stay at halls of residence with one of the bitchiest flatmates known to man. I could save my sanity and name and shame, but I'm not that type of person.
I've been a web enthusiast since sometime in March 1996, when my parents were finally convinced to connect to the Internet. I've "been there and done that" with most stuff to do with the Internet. I've even been through all the motions and have been treated for addiction to mIRC (a chat client). I had it so bad that when I was at school I would suffer from severe withdrawal symptoms, so my warning to all the people out there is, " Don't get hooked!" and parents, keep an eye out on what your kids are doing on the Internet, they're only three clicks away from a paedophile!
Besides being a general pest and pain in the backside to my friends and family, I also write as a means of keeping me sane. However, I never seem to complete anything I start, so I have a large backlog of unfinished literature which includes a science fiction novel(lette) I've been working on for about 8 years. I don't intend to publish anything anytime soon, not until I've actually finished something!
